Google is launching a new version of its Hangouts video chat service that's intended for enterprise customers. The new 'Meet' app is part of G Suite and can be used on mobile devices and the web. A full announcement has yet to occur.
The current page for Meet shows a Hangouts-like screen that lacks the regular phone call and chat options. It includes an area for you to enter a meeting code if you need to join one.
Meet supports HD calls with up to 30 people, up from the 10 person limit that exists with Hangouts.
