Amazon Working To Get Alexa To Answer Customer Service Questions

Amazon is developing Alexa so that it can be employed in commercial settings to answer voice and text customer service messages. The Information reports this software package, known as Lily, will be introduced this month.
Included in Lily are Lex and Polly, a couple Amazon Web Services developer services that utilize natural language processing similarly to Alexa. The software should be able to handle most customer interactions and it even integrates with Salesforce.
While a company that utilizes the service would still need human employees, the burden on its customer service reps could be reduced.
