Certain individuals and businesses are gaining the ability to communicate directly with Google search users. Through a relatively new feature called "Posts," businesses and celebrities will be able to share information about their activities.
Posts is being targeted at "museums, sports teams, sports leagues, and movies." An example of how it can be used is that a museum could put up updates about exhibits and share relevant facts.
This feature also works with musicians in Brazil.
Posts rolled out last year. Some of the first supported individuals were presidential candidates.
