Group conversations in Facebook Messenger are also going to have access to chatbots. TechCrunch reports there will be bots for things like the news, sports, and eCommerce. They won't really communicate with individual users, but they'll update the entire group on certain things.
Once one user in a group adds a bot, it appears everyone will see the information. Whereas each user would typically need to seek out bots in Messenger on their own for individual usage.
The group chatbots are reportedly going to be introduced during Facebook's F8 event.
