Users Of iPhone 7 Matte Black Complain About Poor Paint Quality

An increasing number of customers who purchased the Matte Black iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus are reporting about poor paint quality on their devices. The images are showing that the anodized finish on Matte Black models has started chipping or peeling off in some areas.
The common areas that are affected are underneath the phone on the speaker vents, volume buttons and on the back. Most of the users said they've used their phones in a case. Unfortunately, cosmetic damages are not covered under warranty, so users are unlikely to get replacements.
