A new feature in Microsoft's Cortana assistant will remind you of promises you made while communicating via email. The feature utilizes machine learning to find phrases in your email that might represent promises and commitments.
This ability is first arriving on Windows 10 in the US. It'll reach Android and iOS in the coming weeks.
You must be using Outlook.com or Office 365 for the reminders to work. Third-party options like Gmail will end up being supported in the future.
When the feature is enabled, you'll receive reminder notifications telling you "don't forget you mentioned this."
