Tizen smartphones are currently available only in select emerging markets, but Samsung plans to expand its offering to more countries. So far, the company has only launched three Tizen smartphones, including the Samsung Z1, Z2 and Z3, but more is coming in 2017.
Before launching Tizen-based smartphones on new markets, the company has just expanded coverage of its Tizen Store. The Tizen Store is available for developers where they can publish free and paid Tizen apps. After the initial expansion in April 2015, the store now includes a further 41 countries, bringing the total covered to 222.
