Microsoft is increasing the UK price of the Surface Book by £150 in the wake of currency valuation changes triggered by the Brexit decision. Price adjustments of this sort have become quite common in the tech industry ever since the UK voted to leave the EU last year.
It explained the price increase by stating it's "adjusting the British pound prices of some of our hardware and consumer software in order to align to market dynamics."
The lowest-end model with a Core i5 processor and a 128 GB hard drive now costs £1,449 rather than £1,299.
Microsoft previously raised the price of its enterprise software in the country.
