Snapdragon 835 Spotted On Geekbench, Still Not What We Expect

In 2017, not all flagship smartphones will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and the main reason is because of Samsung, who has first dibs on the chipset. Those phones that will have the chipset will definitely be one of the best phones one the market, at least in terms of performance.
The chipset has now leaked on Geekbench, where it scored 2,004 in single-core and 6,233 in multi-core tests. The device is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, along with 4 GB of RAM, so phones with more RAM might have better performance. Not to mention that Qualcomm will further optimize the retail samples, which could end up with even higher clocks.
For comparison, earlier samples scored 1,844 and 5,426 points, respectively. Still, the chipset is not much better than what we have right now as Huawei's Kirin 960 chipset scored 1,949 and 6,439 points.
