When Galaxy S6 first came out, one of the first complaints was regarding the big camera bump on the back. Samsung partially fixed things with the Galaxy S7, which lowered the bump from 1.7mm to only 1mm. And while we thought the Galaxy S8 won't have it, we were wrong.
According to new renders, the rear camera on the Galaxy S8 will protrude 0.2mm. While the bump is quite smaller than the one on the Galaxy S7 edge, it is still present and many people won't like it.
The schematics also show that the Galaxy S8 will be slightly thicker, measuring 8mm. For comparison, both the Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy Note 7 measure 7.9mm so the 0.1mm difference won't matter to anyone.
