LG G6 Battery Capacity Revealed, To Last Around 12 Hours While Browsing

Every time a new smartphone comes out, all everybody is talking is about design or how powerful it is. Very few people actually talk about things they'll need in everyday use, such as battery. Nowadays smartphones are powerful enough for any tasks you'll ever need from a phone, but battery lifespans are far from ideal, or should we say they are very poor. There hasn't been a breakthrough since the lithium-ion or Li-ion batteries replaced the NiMH batteries, and companies will rather make the phone less thick with a smaller battery.
That is not the case with LG, who has found a compromise between thickness and battery size. According to Korean media, the phone will ship with a battery capacity of "more than 3,200 mAh" and the battery should last around 12 hours on a charge when browsing the internet. This isn't impressive, but it is quite decent compared to some phones.
