Exynos 9810 SoC Detailed, To Feature Octa-Core CPU And PowerVR GPU

After announcing the flagship Exynos 8895 for the upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, Samsung is now working on expanding the lineup with a new mid-range chipset called Exynos 9810. The biggest change over the flagship model is switch from ARM's Mali GPU to PowerVR GPU from Imagination Technologies.
The chipset will have an octa-core processor with four Samsung's Mongoose M2 cores and four ARM's Cortex A53 cores. The new Mali G71 GPU will be clocked at 550 MHz and the chipset will feature improved performance and power consumption over its predecessor, which is something everyone expected.
