Blizzard has launched a cross-game economy between its games, including World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. Players will be able to convert in-game gold from WoW into Battle.net credit that can be used in other titles.
This feature builds upon WoW Tokens, which were introduced in 2015. Those tokens can be purchased using real money or in-game gold. Now they can also be used beyond World of Warcraft once they're converted into Battle.net credit.
