Apple Is Going To Fight 'Right To Repair' Legislation

Right to Repair legislation that's under consideration in Nebraska will be fought by Apple, reports Vice's Motherboard. If the legislation were to pass, Apple and other companies would need to sell repair parts to consumers and independent repair shops.
By making those items available along with providing diagnostic and service manuals, consumers could have more options for fixing their devices.
Legislation of this sort is being considered in eight states, with Nebraska among them.
An Apple representative is reportedly going to testify against the bill on March 9. AT&T is said to be doing the same.
