Faraday Future may be claiming it has the fastest accelerating production vehicle with its FF91 SUV, but that doesn't appear accurate. A video from Tesla Racing Channel shows Tesla's Model S P100D using its "Ludicrous Plus" mode to reach a 0-60 mph time of 2.389 seconds.
Tesla's car managed to accelerate a thousandth of a second faster than Faraday claims its vehicle will offer. And that's assuming the production version of the FF91 will even provide the acceleration time that was mentioned.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk thinks the Model S can go as low as 2.34 seconds.
