Nissan To Test Autonomous Leaf Vehicles In London Next Month

Nissan has picked London as its first European test location for autonomous vehicles. The automaker will begin trying out modified Leaf electric vehicles on public streets in February. Volvo is also bringing its autonomous XC90 SUVs to London around the same time.
Pro Pilot, an autonomous driving feature for single-lane highways, was previously introduced by Nissan. It'll be offered in the Leaf, Serena, and Qashqai.
Full details about the company's tests in London haven't been released. The company will be using a modified version of its latest Leaf model, the same one that includes Pro Pilot.
