Titanfall: Frontline has been cancelled. The mobile game based on Respawn's series had made it into a closed beta on iOS and Android. Although the beta allowed developer Particle City (a studio backed by Nexon) to "learn an incredible amount" about bringing Titanfall to mobile, work on the game has ceased.
A post on the Frontline Facebook explains that the game wasn't going to "deliver the intense action-packed gameplay" people expect from Titanfall.
The beta will "wind down" in the coming days and fully go offline on January 20.
Due to Respawn's work with Nexon, mobile Titanfall games are still in the works.
