Due to several reports from users experiencing inconsistencies related to audio playback via third-party apps, HTC decided to halt the Nougat update and fix the issue. Just four days after, the company released a new version of the build and resumed the update in Europe.
The new software update has a version 2.41.401.3 and weighs in at 1.17 GB. Aside from Android 7.0 features, the update also brings latest security patches and some system-related enhancements. Users have reported that HTC 10, HTC 10 Lifestyle and HTC One M9 phones are receiving the update, but it is safe to assume that more devices will get it in the coming days.
