FCC Filing Points To New Nvidia Shield Portable

A new Nvidia Shield Portable might be on the way, according to a filing with the US' FCC. The filing is for a device that looks very similar to the existing Shield Portable, but the listed specs are upgraded.
It appears the device comes with a Tegra X1 processor, up from its predecessor's Tegra 4. That's the same processor used in the set-top Shield unit.
The new Shield Portable also comes with a 5.66-inch 1440 x 810 display, up from a 5-inch 1280 x 720 display. It's likely the unit's WiFi will be upgraded to the 802.11ac standard.
