Despite experiencing some glitches right from its launch, AT&T's DirecTV Now streaming service reached 200,000 subscribers in its first month. That figure was revealed in an SEC filing for the last quarter, which ended December 31.
The number only includes customers who are paying for the service. Those who've experienced DirecTV Now via a free trial aren't counted.
A special launch offer allowed consumers to spend $35 for over 100 channels. HBO and Cinemax were available for an extra $5 per month each. That offer was considered one of the best in the streaming market.
