Since it can't test its autonomous vehicles in San Francisco for the time being, Uber is bringing the modified cars to Arizona instead. It says the Volvo XC90 SUVs were taken by truck to the neighboring state on Tuesday and they'll launch in the region "in the next few weeks."
Unlike in California, Uber knows it'll be fine rolling out the vehicles in Arizona. The state's governor, Doug Ducey, has publicly shown his support of the company's activity.
