Tesla Autopilot Now Strictly Follows Speed Limit On Roads

Tesla has pushed out an update for its Autopilot system so that vehicles no longer travel over the speed limit on roads and non-divided highways. Drivers previously were allowed to set the speed of the feature up to 5 mph over the limit. Regular highway driving isn't affected by the update.
Vehicles have been receiving the update since last week. It's intended to make the system safer overall, though drivers may dislike being more limited when using Autopilot.
Some drivers have reported a problem with the update that's leading to more significant speed restrictions than should exist.
