Maybe it is a little bit too early, but Samsung wants to produce flagship smartphones only with curved displays. Therefore, the upcoming Galaxy S8, which is expected to be announced early next year, is rumoured to be available in two version, but both of them will have curved display.
Before, the difference between standard and Edge model was curved display on the latter model, but now the only difference could be the size and possible slightly different hardware inside. Some analysts are worried about this move and think that there isn't high-demand for curved-edge screens since they often lead to inadvertent touches.
What are your thoughts on this? Are curved displays the way to go or you prefer models with flat displays?
