Samsung Galaxy S8 To Feature 8 GB Of RAM; The Company Might Kill The Note Series

Rumours so far are telling that Samsung is working on two different Galaxy S8 sizes for next year. The first should have a 5-inches display, while the alleged Plus variant will have a 6-inch display. Both models will have high-end specs and the only difference could be the display size.
The heart of the GalaxyS8 will be either the Exynos 8895 or the Snapdragon 835 chipset, which will be paired with 8 GB of RAM according to the latest report. Reportedly the company will be using its own RAM chips that are produced using the 10nm process.
Other specs include a UFS 2.1 storage with up to 256 GB, Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung Experience UI on top and maybe a dual rear camera setup on the Plus variant as opposed to the single rear camera on the standard model.
Another rumour emerged online, revealing that Samsung might even kill the Note lineup. There are various reasons, including the recent Note 7 fiasco, but apparently the biggest reason is the similarity between the S and Note series. We have yet to find out whether or not this is true, but we'll keep you posted as new details leak out.
