Just like with previous Galaxy S smartphones, the upcoming Galaxy S8 is expected to be powered by both Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets. As we are approaching the official announcement, more details about the phone are appearing online. This time, we have more information about the Exynos 8895 chipset.
The versions of the chipset will be available, the Exynos 8895M and Exynos 8895V. The only differences between them are clock speed and GPUs. The M version will be clocked at 2.5 GHz and incorporate a G71 MP20 GPU, while the second will be clocked at 2.3 GHz and have G71 MP18 GPU.
Both models will incorporate Cat.12 LTE, UFS 2.1 storage and 4K support. The maximum power draw is just 5W, thanks to 10nm process.
