Periscope Launches 360-Degree Video Streaming

Periscope, a livestreaming service operated by Twitter, now offers support for 360-degree videos. It has immediately rolled out to "select partners" and the first stream with the feature can be viewed here. Like with other 360-degree content, you can move around on desktop by dragging and on mobile by tilting your device.
The service hasn't said when it plans to expand the 360-degree streaming option to all users, but it presumably will at some point.
Facebook introduced its own 360-degree streaming option earlier this month, though most users aren't currently able to use it.
