Giroptic has introduced a 360-degree photo and video camera for the iPhone that offers support for livestreaming. The company first appeared on the scene in 2014 when it launched a Kickstarter campaign for an independent 360-degree capture device intended for regular consumers.
The new Giroptic iO supports 4K photos and enhanced 2K video. Real-time stitching allows content to be broadcast live.
It'll be connected to your iPhone, but it uses its own battery for power. You can stream for up to 1.5 hours on a charge.
The iO costs $249 and will begin shipping January 17.
