Asus Zenbo Robot First Arriving In Taiwan

\
Zenbo, a home robot from Asus, will first be available for purchase in Taiwan. Orders begin January 1 and the robot will sell for $620 with 32 GB, which is up from the previously mentioned $599. The 128 GB model with a self-charging dock goes for $780.
Asus' launch of the product in Taiwan goes beyond merely making it available for the sale. The company is working with the National Police Agency to add emergency video calls to Zenbo. Exactly what will be offered isn't clear, but users will have a way of calling the police with the device.
Other services that'll be attached to Zenbo include music streaming, online shopping, and food delivery services.
No release date for other markets was mentioned.
