Replacing a lost AirPod earbud is going to cost $69. Apple says non-defect battery service will cost $49/earbud when they're still under warranty and servicing the charging case costs either $49 or $69 depending on if you're covered by the included one-year warranty.
The whole package sells for $159. It was put up for sale earlier this week, but online orders are now set to ship after the holidays. Some units will be available at Apple retail stores.
All service is free during the first year if the issue is from a defect rather from normal use or accident.
