Snap.com the parent company of messaging app Snapchat has officially launched new augmented-reality lenses for gaming with friends.
“Today, we’re introducing Snappables — new Lenses for playing augmented reality games with your friends! You can control Snappables using touch, motion, and even facial expressions.” the company said in a post on Wednesday.
That's true, the highlight of Snappables is that it can be controlled through facial expression or using touch and motion, thanks to the augmented-reality filters.
Snappables let you invite your friends and play along too. Some Snappables even let you challenge your friends to beat your high score, including fighting aliens, playing basketball and even inviting them to multiplayer games, the company said.
Snappables will roll out to Snapchat's global base of 187 million users on both iOS and Android this week and according to Team Snap, new Snappables will be released every week.
