Samsung launches Notebook Odyssey Z

Samsung has unveiled its newest laptop Samsung Notebook Odyssey Z, a strikingly thin and light laptop, designed primarily for gamers.
Notebook Odyssey Z is a new, thin-and-light 15-inch gaming laptop featuring Intel’s new hexacore Coffee Lake processors and the first Nvidia GTX 1060 Max-P graphics chip. On top of that, the laptop features a bold new styling and dynamic cooling system.
Odyssey Z takes an entirely new approach to gaming, the South Korean Galaxy maker said. The company claims its new gaming laptop looks different not just because of its next-gen processors but thanks to its "revolutionary thermal management hardware".  According to Samsung, the device sports a built-in Z AeroFlow Cooling System consisting of three key components: the Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber, the Z AeroFlow Cooling Design, and the Z Blade Blower. "They’re all built to keep the Odyssey Z cool, whilst remaining lightweight and portable," Samsung said.
The custom designed Dynamic Spread Vapor Chamber is an intelligently made airflow, which covers both GPU and CPU from edge to edge for heat management while aiming at full performance gaming. The Vapor Chamber is aided by Z AeroFlow Cooling Design, to simultaneously push the cold air to the hottest parts of the device above and below, whilst expelling the warm air out from the vents.
Further, Notebook Odyssey Z boasts an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads and a 15.6-inch full HD display. The device is armed with an 8 generation Intel Core i7 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads. The device features DDR4 RAM with a bandwidth of 2,400MHz powered to operate at lightning quick speed also delivers a platform for multi-core tasks like high-resolution video editing. It flaunts a backlit keyboard with Crater Keycaps via a new Touchpad design.
The device will be available in select countries including Korea and China in April, with US availability in Q3 2018.
