Nokia X6 will be announced on May 16 in China

Nokia is likely to launch the Nokia X6 in China on May 16, according to an official Weibo post shared by the Nokia Mobile account. 
It was earlier reported by a section of the media that the launch was scheduled for April 27. Interestingly, Chinese phone maker OnePlus will launch on the same day its new flagship smartphone OnePlus 6 globally in London.
The new renders that have been leaked on Chinese social media indicate that the device with model number TA-1099 will run Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box and is likely to be a budget handset with two variants. Going by the leaks, the phone will sport a 5.8-inch 19:9 ratio display with a metal unibody, which is now common to HMD Global’s new Nokia phones. In addition, the phone will have an ordinary 10W charger. 
Live leaked images have shown that HMD's new phone will have a notch on the front, along with a dual camera at the rear and a fingerprint sensor. According to a report fromDigi TechQQ, the smartphone will be sold in China for a rumored starting price of 1599 CNY ($252.30) for the basic version and 1799 CNY ($283.85) for the upgraded version.
The cheaper version of the new phone will be powered by MediaTek P60 and will have 4GB RAM, while the costlier variant is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 636.
