Sony is getting rid of the free PS3 and PS Vita games from the PlayStation Plus from next year. According to Polygon, these games will be removed from March 2019 onwards, meaning you may have a bad start to the next year, as far as your gaming endeavors are concerned.
Sony has been giving gamers two free PlayStation 3 games, two PS Vita games and two PS4 games every month.
To recall, Sony started giving free games to PlayStation Plus subscribers from 2010 onwards. Since then, Sony has been giving gamers two free PlayStation 3 games, two PS Vita games, and two PS4 games every month. So, from March 8 next year, you will only be getting the PlayStation 4 games. While many may not mind that, it still somewhat diminishes the value of PlayStation Plus subscription.
Further, the company hasn’t made any change to the subscription prices either. PlayStation Plus is currently available for $59.99 per year. Sony also plans to launch the game, Bloodborne next March, while the rebooted version of Ratchet and Clank is one of the free game available this month.
Bad news? Well, that’s just how it is.
