Ever since its acquisition of Motorola, Lenovo seemed to have handed off all smartphone efforts to the company. Now, however, after a year spent silent, Lenovo has announced three new smartphones in China. The range is headed by the Lenovo S5, followed by more budget options in the Lenovo K5 and K5 Play.
The Lenovo S5 has a 5.7-inch display and 18:9 aspect ratio, along with 2160x1080 pixel resolution. The phone runs on a Snapdragon 625 chipset and has a 3000 mAh battery inside. You get 3GB and 4GB RAM options, along with 32GB and 64GB storage variants. There’s also a 128GB version of the device.

The Lenovo K5 series phones also have 5.7-inch displays, along with lower 720p resolutions. While the K5 has 13MP and 5MP cameras (dual-cameras), the K5 Play has the 13MP and 2MP camera on the back. The K5 is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 chipset, while the K5 Play runs on the Snapdragon 450 processor. You can buy the K5 for $141, while the K5 Play is being sold at $110.
