The new subscription prices start from March 13 onwards, but if you’ve joined the service before March 13, you will continue at the original rates. The company is yet to add a lot more channels, but this may provide some incentive for those who were waiting, to sign up right now.
With the addition of Turner Networks, YouTubeTV gets shows like Rick and Morty, The Alienist and a bunch of live sport offerings as well. The increased pricing also brings YouTube TV on par with Hulu’s live television service, which is also priced at $40 per month. On the other hand, there are cheaper options available as well, including Sling TV, Playstation Vue and more. DirecTV is available at a starting price of $35 right now.
