After announcing various new smartphones and tablets this year, Samsung has now unveiled something different. Called Connect Tag, this small internet-enabled device tracks your location and lasts a week between charges, making it a great device to keep tabs on kids, pets or other items.
The company's first smart tracker uses narrowband network technology (NB-IoT, Cat.M1) and can connect to Wi-Fi and GPS. It also works with smart home appliances and is made to work with the Internet of Things devices. The device will first go on sale in Korea before expanding to other countries "in the coming months." There's no word on pricing yet.
