The first generation Google Pixel smartphones arrived with one of the best cameras available at the moment and that was one of the key features that attracted new customers. With new Pixel and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, Google focused the most on the camera performance and has managed to improve the image quality even more.
The new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have the same cameras and are even better than the Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, beating them with a score of 98 compared to 94. Since DxOMark folks are experts when it comes to camera performance, there is no doubt the Pixel 2 has an amazing camera.
