YouTube Removed From The Amazon Echo Show

Google has decided to stop allowing the Amazon Echo Show to access content on YouTube, says Amazon. Without a prior announcement, Google cut off support. As such, when you ask the Echo Show to play a video from the site, it now just says "Currently, Google is not supporting Youtube on Echo Show."
Amazon's statement on the matter says there was "no technical reason" for Google to make this switch.
One of the top uses cases for the Echo Show is with watching cooking videos and controlling video playback using voice controls. Now, users won't have access to the massive number of cooking videos present on YouTube.
Google says it wants the implementation to be improved before YouTube can return.
We've been in negotiations with Amazon for a long time, working towards an agreement that provides great experiences for customers on both platforms. Amazon's implementation of YouTube on the Echo Show violates our terms of service, creating a broken user experience. We hope to be able to reach an agreement and resolve these issues soon.- Google
