The companies receiving money from Intel are focused on AI, but they're utilizing the technology in many different ways.
The startups work in areas like autonomous driving, scientific research, and medical technology. Intel Capital's investments help Intel gain a foothold in the diverse and fast-growing AI industry.
Intel has also invested in its own AI tech and has spent billions on AI-centric companies like Mobileye.
