Face ID Coming To All iPhones Next Year

With iPhone X, Apple announced a completely new feature called Face ID. The face recognition technology uses TrueDepth camera system made up of a dot projector, infrared camera and flood illuminator to unlock the phone and according to the well-known KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the feature is coming to all 2018 iPhones.
The analyst claims that the TrueDepth front-facing camera and Face ID functionality will be available on all iPhone devices next year and that Apple plans to ditch Touch ID completely. If the Face ID fails to impress, Apple will turn its attention to the development of under-display Touch ID.
