Apple iPhone 8 To Have A Six-Core Chipset

Just ahead of today's announcement, we have learned more about Apple's next mobile chipset, the Apple A11. Some of the information was leaked by developer Steve T-S, who found details in the leaked iOS 11 Golden Master and from what we can see, it looks promising.
The Apple A11 will be Apple's most powerful chipset, which was something we all expected. The A11 comes with a six-core chipset, out of which are two high-power Monsoon cores and four-low power Mistral cores. All of them can run at the same time as they can be independently controlled. This is a big improvement from the A10 Fusion, which can only run one cluster at a time - either the powerful or the battery efficient ones.

Just to clarify on the A11: it's two high-power Monsoon cores and four low-power Mistral cores, all independently addressable. No Fusion
