Since many companies are slowly entering the VR market, ASUS has now officially announced that it is launching its own Windows Mixed Reality headset. It features a unique design with a polygonal 3D cover panel to the front, with balanced-crown design that reduces pressure on the nose and face. It also weighs less than 400 grams.
It supports six degrees of freedom tracking thanks to two built-in front-facing tracking cameras and doesn't need any external sensors or additional software. The headset starts at €449, but we don't know if ASUS will include controllers.
