Smartphone display with thin bezels is one of the most popular features of 2017 smartphones, a trend that was started with Xiaomi Mi Mix. While this is currently reserved for premium smartphones, Samsung is reportedly working on first mid-range lineup with Infinity Display screens.
The Galaxy A (2018) series is expected to be the first non-flagship lineup with Samsung's bezel-less display. The new Galaxy A phones might not have the QHD+ resolution, but 1080p, and might not even have 18.5:9 ratio, but not much is known at the moment. Expect to see new models in December or January.
