Several months after Jolla officially announced that they have partnered with Sony to optimise its mobile operating system for the Xperia flagship series, the company has now officially launched the Sailfish X. Although many expected it to be free, Jolla is actually charging the software.
If you want to install it on the Sony Xperia X, you will have to pay €49.90 including VAT for the installation image. The mobile operating system will be available starting October 11, but sales will open on September 27 in Europe, followed by a North American release.
