Google is working on an AMP-based Snapchat Discover competitor that'll be built into its search engine. According to The Wall Street Journal, the new Search feature will feature stories from news publishers, all of which will appear in the AMP format, which has a straightforward design and is fast-loading.
These news pieces could be similar to Discover stories in the sense of being geared towards mobile devices with an emphasis on multimedia content alongside text.
It's said to be calling the product "Stamp," breaking down to "st" for "stories" and AMP.
Some of the content partners would be CNN, The Washington Post, Time, and Vox.
