Following a number of leaked renders, we finally have possible release date. The popular Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, claims that Google is set to announce its next generation Pixel smartphones in October. He also added that both models, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have Qualcomm's improved flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 836.
Both phones are expected to be unveiled on October 5, which is just a day later than the Pixel series was announced. As you may already know, the smaller Pixel 2 is rumoured to be manufactured by HTC, while the Pixel XL 2 is made by LG.
