Facebook Acquires Ozlo, Will Use AI To Improve Messenger

Facebook has picked up an AI startup called Ozlo, whose technology is likely to be used in Messenger. VentureBeat reports the startup, known for its Ozlo app on Android and iOS, is said to have a strong knowledge graph and its technology can figure out difficult phrases in normal text-based conversations.
It's possible the technology and knowledge graph could be very useful for Facebook M, an assistant built into Messenger. M has only reached a subset of Messenger users so far and Facebook remains in the early days of fully integrating AI into the service.
