Successor To Redmi 4 Surfaces In Renders, Specs And Price Also Revealed

Xiaomi has several unannounced smartphones in its sleeves that are expected to be announced by the end of 2017. One of them is Xiaomi Redmi 5, a successor to last year's Redmi 4 smartphone, which has now surfaced online in renders, which also revealed possible specs and pricing. The only thing that wasn't revealed is the availability information.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 looks to be very similar to its predecessor, with 5-inch 1080p IPS display, Snapdragon 625 or Snapdragon 630 coupled with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage. The battery is smaller at 3,680 mAh compared to 4,000 mAh battery. Other specs include dual-SIM support, an improved 16-megapixel rear camera and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top. The expected price tag is 859 yuan or $130 for the base and 1,299 yuan or $190 for the top model.
