Thanks to Apple's and Qualcomm's patent war, the next-gen Snapdragon 845 chipset showed up in a document filed at the ITC by Qualcomm for its complaint against Apple. The documentation in which the company listed all its patented chipsets is used to try to ban iPhone sales in the US.
Unfortunately, it only mentions the SDM845, which is the Snapdragon 845, and no other details were revealed. Some rumours claim that Samsung's next-gen Galaxy S9 is going to be the first phone with the Snapdragon 845, but it won't be the only one as LG is also preparing their next-gen phone powered by the aforementioned chipset.
