Logitech Acquires Another Gaming Headset Maker For $85 Million

Looks like computer accessory company Logitech plans to expand its presence on the gaming headset market as it has just announced acquisition of another popular console gaming handset maker Astro Gaming. Logitech paid $85 million in cash and Astro will join the Logitech G division.
The deal is expected to close by the end of August and Astro Gaming will bring along its entire portfolio of gaming headsets, meaning Logitech will finally focus more on the console market. The Logitech G will probably stay focused on PC peripherals, while Astro will continue to be a console brand.
